Dr. Joly Puthussery, Professor Centre for Folk Culture Studies, University of Hyderabad. Teaching at the university level for the last twenty-two years. Produced PhD’s and MPhil’s’, published and presented papers in theatre studies, folklore & performance research.

Fulbright Fellowship in Theatre education at Illinois state university U.S.A (during Sep 2004 to march 2005) funded by IIE and USEFI.
Junior Research Fellowship, Dept. of Culture, HRD Ministry, Govt. of India (2000 - 2002).
Sax I Fund Fellowship 1999 – 2000, Warburg Institute, University of London.
