Bhumika Vijay Kherde
Bhumika Vijay Kherde has been an academician in the field of communication design for seven years. Her areas of expertise include visual semiotics, graphic design, typography, and media studies. She has acquired graduation degree in Visual Arts from Rachana Sansad College of Applied Art and Craft in Mumbai, as well as a postgraduate degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. She acquired formal training at the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad, which shaped her approach as a professional educator in Visual Communication. This allowed her to further refine her competence.
Meaning-making, the portrayal of emotions, social impact, and narrative are the primary themes of her study, which investigates how design influences perception and engagement.
