    Tejal Jani

Dr. Tejal Jani is a professor in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course at GLS University, Ahmedabad. As part of her investigation into mythology, Dr. Jani investigates the ways in which socio-cultural elements impact feminist reinterpretations of ancient myths. By doing so, she sheds light on the shifting debate of gender and tradition in Indian literature. In her research on meaning-making, she investigates the depiction of feelings and the impact they have on society. She also examines the ways in which literature and the media influence perceptions and the norms of society.

Dr. Jani’s research on the social and legal ramifications of television advertising in India demonstrates her interest in cultural influences. In this line of inquiry, she analyzes the ways in which the content of the media both reflects and impacts the values and behaviours of society. In addition, her research on children's literature involves examinations of gender stereotypes. This may be seen in her analysis of the emotions that are conveyed by male and female characters in children's stories.

By using an interdisciplinary perspective, Dr. Jani makes a significant contribution to a more in-depth comprehension of the ways in which literature, media, and culture engage with one another to shape both individual and collective awareness.
