Ranjan kumar Auddy
Dr. Ranjan Kumar Auddy is an Associate Professor of English in Heramba Chandra College in Kolkata. He worked as Assistant Professor in English in Sabang Sajanikanta Mahavidyalaya, affiliated to Vidyasagar University from 18 November 2003 to 22 April 2019 and on 23 April 2019 he joined Heramba Chandra College. His most important publication till date is In Search of Indian English: History, Politics and Indigenisation published by Routledge in 2020 (ISBN 978-0-367-35271-4). A few articles of Dr Auddy have also been published in several journals. He enjoy teaching Brecht to undergraduate students and this article is a result of his engagement with Brecht’s The Good Person of Szechwan in the last few years.
