    Abstract:

This work demonstrates how the use of the gamebook in the classroom brings benefits to young students and readers through the work of collective creation using the synthesis of the Bloom´s Taxonomy (1972). According to Green (2014), the gamebook is a hybrid genre that mixes non-sequential narrative with RPG-style rule systems, in addition to not dependent on extra rule books. The present activity was applied during Portuguese Language classes in a private school in the city of Paulínia/SP in two elementary classrooms using two classics of canonical literature. This activity consisted in making a cutout of the classical work and recreating it in the form of solo adventure, a kind of a short gamebook. This activity was chosen because it could require more effort and dedication from the students than researches and summaries easily made by internet, leaving them far from them comfort zone. It was noticed that the reading of classic books and gamebook became more appreciated by the students, used to answer simple questions involving Bloomian knowledge and understanding (1972). This practice has proved to be an important tool for students' involvement with the literary work through a hybrid text genre that remains novelty to many young readers, and therefore aims to inspire new projects and research in the most diverse school areas through other applications and optimizations that it may know.
