    Asish Gautam

Ashish Gautam is a scholar who finds equal intellectual merit in Fyodor Dostoevsky's existentialism and Eminem's unflinching lyrical honesty, believing that both offer profound insights into human suffering and resilience. Currently pursuing his PhD in English at the University of Delhi (expected 2026), he has dedicated years to exploring the complex terrain of caste narratives, Dalit literature, and cultural history with the same analytical rigor he applies to understanding the philosophical depths of The Marshall Mathers LP.

Armed with UGC-NET qualification and Junior Research Fellowship, Ashish has taught at prestigious institutions including Shri Ram College of Commerce, where he engaged students with both Ambedkar's writings and the transformative power of authentic artistic expression. His research focuses on anti-caste history and comparative studies of Dalit characters in Indian literature, examining how marginalized voices challenge dominant narratives—themes that resonate whether you're reading Notes from Underground or listening to "Lose Yourself."
