Selim Al Deen is the name of a great theatre scholar in post-independent Bangladesh. He was known as Natyacharya. Selim Al Deen was a playwright and theoretician and the founder of the Drama department in Bangladesh at Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka.
